01-30 Holy Month of Ramadan

The month of Ramadan commences and finishes upon the sighting of the moon in the UAE. Ramadan is is expected to commence on 1st March 2025 and it will last for 29 or 30 days. During the holy month, daytime fasting is observed when it is forbidden for Muslims and non-Muslims to eat and drink in public between sunrise and sunset. Iftar is the sunset meal when the daytime fast breaks. Suhoor is a late night or early morning meal, anytime before sunrise.
