Doing business in Abu Dhabi beyond ADIPEC 2018 - what you need to know
If you are coming to ADIPEC and intending to do business here, its good to know the following in advance:
To do business in Abu Dhabi you need a trade license
To work directly with ADNOC you need to obtain approval from the Supreme Petroleum Council
Expat employees working in Abu Dhabi will be required to have residence visas
Employees working at specific facilities may also be required to have CICPA security permits.

Throughout ADIPEC week there numerous networking events and receptions. This year, the British Business Group in Abu Dhabi will be hosting its annual ADIPEC Kick Off Breakfast on Monday 12th November at 7am at the Novotel Al Bustan. The Keynote Speakers are Bob Dudley, BP Group Chief Executive and Stuart Broadley, CEO of the Energy Industries Council. This is always a well attended event and gets bigger each year. The hotel provides free shuttle buses after the event to take you directly to ADIPEC at the ADNEC.
