This Webinar, for British energy companies, was organised by the Department for Business and Trade, on 26th October 2015, to provide information about opportunities in the energy sector in the UAE and how to setup an energy business here. It also introduces some of the key trade associations that could be useful, such as The Energy Industries Council (EIC) and Scottish Development International (SDI). The Webinar lasts for just over thirty minutes and finishes with a Q&A session.
The Purpose of the UKTI's Energy Webinar
To provide UK companies planning to attend and/or exhibit at ADIPEC in Abu Dhabi with an insight into doing business in the UAE, with a particular focus on the complexities involved in setting up in the energy sector, such as obtaining approval from the Supreme Petroleum Council, registering with ADNOC and organising CICPA registration for obtaining CICPA security passes.
